Concrete Cloth wins 2012 Innovision Award for Innovative Application of Technology

Milliken & Company and Concrete Canvas Ltd. were awarded a 2012 InnoVision Award at an awards ceremony held on November 7, 2012 in Greenville, South Carolina. Concrete Cloth™ cement-impregnated fabric won in the Technology Application category, for the innovative application of an existing technology.

Concrete Cloth™ cement-impregnated fabric is a technology developed in 2004 by Peter Brewin and Will Crawford, co-founders of Concrete Canvas Ltd. In 2011, Milliken was named the exclusive distributor of Concrete Cloth in the U.S. and Canada. In September 2012, Milliken began manufacturing Concrete Cloth in the U.S.

The InnoVision Awards Program is dedicated to recognizing and honoring businesses, individuals and organizations in South Carolina’s Upstate and Greater Midlands for demonstrating significant advancements in the areas of innovation and technological progress.
