The International Stability Operations Association is pleased to announce that Ambassador Princeton Lyman, United States Special Envoy to South Sudan and Sudan, will deliver a keynote address at the 2012 ISOA Annual Summit, to take place at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on 15-17 October 2012.
Ambassador Lyman has served as the Special Envoy to South Sudan and Sudan since 2011. He formerly served as the Senior Advisor on North-South Negotiations where his leadership of the U.S. team assisted in Sudan’s Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005. Ambassador Lyman’s previous assignments include Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Director of Refugee Programs, U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, as well as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations Affairs.
