The Laser and Vein Center of North Jersey has added advanced technology that will provide enhanced results for deep wrinkles and other anti-aging applications.

The Laser and Vein Center of North Jersey has added three new pieces of technology to counter the effects of sun damage, acne scars, spider veins and rosacea.

To combat these skin imperfections, Dr. Philip Seaver, Jr. offers his patients a treatment called a “Phoenician Facial.” The therapy uses a combination of laser skin resurfacing and Broad Band Light treatments to change the texture of the skin, remove fine lines and deep wrinkles, reduce redness and lessen mild-to-moderate acne scarring.

The Laser and Vein Center of North Jersey has added three new lasers that will be used in Phoenician Facial treatments. This advanced technology will provide enhanced results for deep wrinkles and other anti-aging applications.

“Growing older is inevitable, but looking older is optional,” said Dr. Seaver. “That’s why I recommend the Phoenician Facial to my patients. It turns back the clock five to 15 years.”

The center has added the following lasers to its arsenal of age-fighting weapons.

  •     The SmartSkin CO2 by Cynosure allows customizable treatments that deliver cosmetic results and an amount of downtime that aligns with patients’ expectations. The microablative laser can be combined with collagen rejuvenation using only one laser. Deep wrinkles, sun damage, keratoses, solar lentigines and poor skin texture can be treated with SmartSkin.

o    This CO2 Fractional Laser transmits a beam of light to deep layers of the skin. The laser heats and breaks down the skins’ connective tissues, which stimulates the body to produce collagen. CO2 Fractional Laser can be used to remove age spots, freckles and acne scars, as well as shrink pores, tighten skin and remove fine to severe lines and wrinkles.

  •     The ProFractional Erbium Laser by Sciton creates excellent resurfacing results with minimal downtown. This ProFractional doesn’t remove the entire surface area of a treatment site; rather, it ablates a narrow-diameter channel in the skin. The surrounding tissue is left intact, which helps speed healing. With ProFractional, patients experience greater comfort, shorter healing times and a wider range of results.
