NIKE Softball Camps Announces Its New 2012 Summer Girls Softball Camp Location At Concordia University in Wisconsin

NIKE Softball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 and is pleased to announce its latest addition, Concordia University, to the 2012 NIKE Softball Camp schedule.

Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.

“Each summer we look to improve our offerings of NIKE Softball Camp across the country. This summer is no exception with the addition of Concordia University” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Our camp Directors are our partners and as such have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality; camps that are fun and improve the skills of each camper.”

Directing the NIKE Softball Camp at Concordia University is coaching legend John Crook. Last season Coach Crook led his team to the NCAA Tournament where they won their first-ever contest at that prestigious level. He has won LMC coaching honors twice in his coaching career at Concordia. Campers will have the opportunity to work with Crook and improve their softball skills tremendously. At camp Crook covers the mechanics of fielding, hitting, and the mental side to game-time situations.
