Taz Solutions has launched a "Buy one, give one" campaign to donate fully-developed websites to out-of-work individuals who want to start their own business.

"Saying that small business is the backbone of the American economy isn't exactly earth-shattering, especially in an election year," says Taz Solutions' CEO, Michael Tasner. "But it's true."

With that thought in mind, Taz Solutions has launched an initiative called The Rebuild Project . The goal of The Rebuild Project is simple: To help put unemployed individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit back to work by giving them one of the most important tools to starting a new business: A great website.

Taz Solutions is a full-service marketing, web development and video production firm based in Buffalo, NY, and helmed by Michael Tasner, bestselling author of Marketing in the Moment: The Practical Guide to Using Web 3.0 Marketing to Reach Your Customers First. From its small business beginnings as a one-
man marketing firm, the company has seen steady growth and expanded into many different areas of media marketing. This growth has been fostered by the hiring and development of a team of experts in all areas of new media. The vast majority of Taz Solutions' new team members are from within the Buffalo community.

"We've seen a great deal of success over the last 12 years," says Tasner. "We've also had our fair share of struggles. As we continued to grow, we started looking for ways that we could give back, and to smooth the way for other startups and entrepreneurs. We're successful, but we're still a small business at heart, so we set about figuring out how we could make the biggest impact, given the resources we have on hand."

Out of that process came The Rebuild Project. "We thought we would do what we're already good at; what we've been building our team to do: Create world-class, easily usable websites for entrepreneurs, and let them focus on making their business better. We will give these sites to people who are unemployed but have an idea that we could help to make great. We would do our part to help an unemployed person become a successful small business owner - who would then, in turn, eventually create even more local jobs. Above all, the websites will be easy to update and maintain - to save the entrepreneur's valuable time - and will also be optimized to be more easily found by all of the major search engines."

Through The Rebuild Project, companies who purchase a Taz Solutions website will also be giving a website of equal value to an out-of-work entrepreneur. Companies will have the opportunity to nominate a recipient, to ensure that their "buy one, give one" website benefits their local community.
