The Prospero Foundation, founded by Ulrik DeBo of DeBondo Capital, is proud to announce that a microloan donation has been made to a farming and fishing family in the rural Kror Kor district of Pursat province, Cambodia
Choern is 30 years old, with a young son, and together with her husband, runs a small farming business that is supplemented with the sale of any fish he is able to catch. Lack of working capital is the main challenge for their current businesses.
She has requested the funds to buy a boat and other fishing equipment for her husband’s fishing business. The goal is to increase his catch to bring them in more money from its sale, which would improve their standard of living, as well as allow them to invest into and improve the farm.
The Prospero Foundation is proud to have contributed to this hard-working family that merely want an opportunity live a comfortable life and be able to feed, clothe and educate their son.
