58% of female respondents worry about credit fraud, according to a survey by credit card comparison website CreditDonkey.com. In comparison, less than half of male respondents (48%) are concerned about credit fraud.
While most (66.1%) have never been a victim of credit card, more than half of women are afraid it could happen to them, according to the new survey.

CreditDonkey.com polled more than 1,100 respondents between September 17 and September 25, 2012.
"Credit card companies routinely track purchases and flag accounts with suspicious activity," says Charles Tran, founder of CreditDonkey.com. "In most cases, the Fair Credit Billing Act limits a cardholder's responsibility for unauthorized charges to a credit card to only $50."
