Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2012
SalesPortal (http://www.salesportal.com), the first partnership marketing platform for contact centers, today announced it has recruited Joe McFadden as vice president of marketing. McFadden is a senior executive who participated in several successful venture-funded companies in the customer service space.
SalesPortal enables companies with contact centers to present their customers with relevant offers from marketing partners at the end of sales and service calls, generating new revenue streams in the process. Interested customers are live-transferred to the partnering companies, providing these partners with a new low-cost, high-quality customer acquisition channel. SalesPortal is a cloud-based solution with the functionality to match up partner companies, create and manage campaigns, present relevant end-of-call offers to the agent desktop, and transfer calls to partner contact centers.
McFadden will be responsible for developing the company’s go-to-market strategies, launching new products and building the company’s brand.
“With his depth of experience working with cloud-based technologies, customer sales and service solutions, and the contact center industry, Joe will be a tremendous asset to SalesPortal,” said Saurabh Khetrapal, co-founder and CEO of SalesPortal. “His experience will drive our brand and growth strategies by delivering solutions that focus on our clients’ revenue generation and customer acquisition goals.”
McFadden has more than 25 years of solutions marketing experience and has worked with a number of emerging companies in the customer service space. Prior to joining SalesPortal, he was a marketing executive with Enkata, a cloud-based workforce analytics and optimization company, where he repositioned the product line and more than tripled the sales pipeline. He was previously vice president of marketing for InsideTrack, a student coaching and retention solution for the higher education market. He was also co-founder of a web conferencing company that was purchased by Cisco.
“I’ve been fortunate to have participated in six venture-backed companies. This one has me most excited,” says McFadden. “SalesPortal has all the right elements for success: an experienced executive team; premier, engaged investors; and a proven product with more than 600 brand-name subscribers. It doesn’t get any better for a marketing guy.”
