The Orthopedic and Total Joint Replacement Program at Healdsburg District Hospital (HDH) has ranked among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for joint replacement care, and has repeatedly received recognition for producing excellent patient outcomes. HealthGrades, the nation’s leading independent medical rating organization, evaluates patient outcomes for 5,000 hospitals. Based on comprehensive analysis of patient mortality and complication rates, HealthGrades has this year acknowledged Healdsburg District Hospital Orthopedics for the 4th straight year with the Excellence Award for Joint Replacement.

In addition to HealthGrades Joint Replacement awards, Healdsburg District Hospital has received industry honors from Avatar International for Exceeding Patient Expectations 4 years in a row. Patients of the program receive care from a multidisciplinary team of in-house rehabilitation specialists, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and orthopedic technicians. The synergy between award-winning orthopedic physicians and an award winning hospital staff brings exceptional patient outcomes, and has made the Orthopedic and Total Joint Replacement Program the highest rated joint-replacement provider in Sonoma County in recent years.
