Out of 830,000 active doctors in the U.S., only 5% are honored with Patients' Choice recognition.
Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 14, 2012
Two prominent Massachusetts fertility doctors have recently received 2012 Patients' Choice awards. The award is based on infertility patient reviews posted on vitals.com, a leading medical patient review website. Out of the nation's 830,000 active doctors, only 5% have been recognized with this honor by their patients.
Isaac Glatstein, MD is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is Associate Medical Director at the Reproductive Science Center (RSC) of New England and sees infertility patients at the RSC New England IVF center in Lexington, Massachusetts and also at the Center's Boston Southshore location in Braintree, MA.
Dr. Glatstein has been a recipient of the Patients' Choice award since 2008. He additionally received Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Glatstein earned his medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Glatstein's Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed through Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Samuel Pauli, MD completed his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship training at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Medical Center.
Dr. Pauli joined RSC New England in 2011 and sees infertility patients at several Reproductive Science Center Massachusetts locations including at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, on Boston's Northshore at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, at the RSC IVF Center in Lexington, and in Boston's Metro West area at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. (RSC New England is clinically affiliated with both UMass and the Reliant Medical Group (Atrius) in Worcester.) Dr. Pauli is also the lead physician on the RSC New England Urgent Care Team providing fertility preservation services for cancer patients.
Only physicians who have received top doctor scores by their patients and pass other quality measures are awarded Patients' Choice recognition. Patients rate various components of the care they receive including the accuracy of their diagnosis, the amount of time spent with the doctor, the doctor's "bedside" manner and follow-up care.
