Complex event processing enables enterprises to immediately identify interesting event occurrences, ensuring an optimal use of event patterns.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) August 21, 2012
Complex event processing (CEP) enables enterprises to immediately identify interesting event occurrences, ensuring an optimal use of event patterns. However, many businesses struggle to achieve real-time processing that seamlessly integrates with complex service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments. As a result, IT organizations often spend more time building tightly coupled workaround solutions that are not SOA friendly. To help IT professionals address this challenge, WSO2 will present a webinar that examines how to optimize data processing with the WSO2 Complex Event Processing Server (WSO2 CEP Server).
The one-hour technical session, “Introducing the WSO2 Complex Event Processing Server – Simplifying Complexities of Data Processing," is being held twice on Tuesday, August 28: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PDT for the Americas and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. For more information, visit http://wso2.org/library/webinars/2012/08/introducing-wso2-complex-event-processing-server-simplifying-complexities-data-processing.
The webinar will begin with an introduction to the WSO2 CEP Server, including key features and core capabilities. Then the session will examine how the WSO2 CEP Server integrates into the SOA environment; achieves high availability, persistence and scalability; and can be combined with the WSO2 Business Activity Monitor for future processing. The webinar also will review the WSO2 CEP Server’s capabilities for addressing critical data processing needs, as well as discuss the Siddhi Runtime complex event processing engine on which WSO2 CEP Server is based.
The webinar will be presented by Suhothayan Sriskandarajah, WSO2 software engineer and a member of the WSO2 data technologies team, who works on the WSO2 CEP Server. In addition product development, Suhothayan has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, including customer QuickStart programs focused on SAP integration.
