IT organizations often struggle to store their applications and manage the lifecycle of each artifact across different environments.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2012
Enterprises are continually working on applications at various stages—from development, to quality assurance, to production. However, IT organizations often struggle to store these applications and manage the lifecycle of each artifact across different environments. To help IT professionals address this challenge, WSO2 will present a webinar that explores how the WSO2 Governance Registry optimizes application governance and lifecycle management best practices.
The one-hour technical session, “Enterprise Use Case Webinar – Application Governance with the WSO2 Governance Registry," is being held twice on Thursday, August 23: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PDT for the Americas and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Application Governance with the WSO2 Governance Registry
The webinar will begin by examining two core features of the WSO2 Governance Registry—its powerful asset definition language (RXT) and lifecycle configuration model. Based on standard XML configurations, these features enable users to define any kind of asset or lifecycle model with ease. Additionally, the session will demonstrate how to combine these features along with other capabilities of the WSO2 Governance Registry to govern an application across several environments. Key topics will include:
· An introduction to an application asset using the RXT configuration.
· Definition of a new lifecycle to manage artifacts.
· How to move artifacts across multiple environments, using the lifecycle management functionality of the WSO2 Governance Registry.
The webinar will be presented by Janaka Ranabahu, WSO2 senior software engineer and a member of the WSO2 integration technologies team, who focuses on the WSO2 Governance Registry. In addition to his product development efforts, Janaka has provided technology consulting on customer engagements and participated in several customer QuickStart programs.
