Managed APIs can provide a highly effective means of delivering mobile applications and reducing integration time. To help IT professionals optimize their use of managed APIs, WSO2 will present a webinar that examines how to apply service-oriented architecture (SOA) best practices using the recently launched WSO2 API Manager.
The one-hour technical session, “WSO2 Latest Product Release – Introducing WSO2 API Manager for Mobile Applications and Rapid Integration," is being held twice on Tuesday, September 11: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PDT for the Americas and 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Delivering Mobile Applications and Reducing Integration Time
The webinar will examine how managed APIs enable rapid integration and SOA best practices, including a review of mobile and integration use cases that require extending an existing SOA and enterprise service bus (ESB). Additionally, the session will dig into how an API management platform rapidly integrates back-end services with front-end mobile applications. The webinar also will provide an introduction to WSO2 API Manager, including key features and core capabilities, and it will discuss the WSO2 API management roadmap, and where it will take IT organizations’ API strategies.
IT architects and developers who would like additional insight into how to extend an SOA through managed APIs, can also download the newly published white paper, “Promoting service reuse within your enterprise and maximizing SOA success.”
The webinar will be presented by Sumedha Rubasinghe, WSO2 senior architect and chair of the WSO2 data technologies management committee. Sumedha focuses on the development of the WSO2 Carbon Core, WSO2 Data Services, WSO2 Governance Registry, WSO2 Business Activity Monitor, and WSO2 API Manager. He also has contributed to the successful implementation of data, SAP and repository-based integration projects, as well many WSO2 QuickStart development consulting engagements.
The webinar is part of the five-week API Management Webinar Series program. To learn more, visit http://wso2.com/landing/api-webinar-series.
