Mr. Metzgar has either promoted, produced for television or worked in the studio with some of Nashville's greatest superstars. Mr. Metzgar's publishing company, the Aim High Music Company (ASCAP) is now joint ventured with other major publishers in Hollywood. His label, Platinum Plus International is distributed through The Orchard in New York City. The publishing company has been awarded 13 gold records and 11 platinum records through the past 35 yars of music related sales on various artists and songs. Mr. Metzgar's companies also own Club Platinum Music (BMI) and he is the sole parter in Bobby & Billy Music (BMI). Platinum Plus International holds the record for having some of the highest charted national hits in various trade magazines such as Billboard Bluegrass, New Music Weekly, Cashbox magazine and various other indie charts.
Mr. Metzgar manages and does production for a very limited number of extremely prestigious & high value music clients who are developing their careers with various record labels in Hollywood, Nashville and New York. He was voted the Producer Of The Year at the MIRL awards by country radio during the CMA Fan Fair week of June 1993. Mr. Metzgar's mother was a prominent songwriter for the S Baptist Broadman Press in Nashville and is the writer of the very famous "Jesus Breaks Every Fetter."
Elected to the Legends Hall of Fame, the West Texas Music Hall Of Fame, Mr. Metzgar is the only producer to ever have 11 single releases all with bullets in the Hot Country Singles chart in the same week of February 1994. He was ASCAP's prestigious winner of the popular music awards in 1991, 1992, 1993 and for "jazz" in 2010.
