Financial Trainer Dorothea Bernique and the Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Education Training Center will launch the much anticipated Financial Freedom Club on May 15, 2012. The 12-month program will offer monthly training, support and accountability to Charleston area residents who are committed to the process of becoming financially free. The Financial Freedom Club will meet from 6PM - 8PM every 3rd Friday in a private room at the Smoky Bones Restaurant on 1234 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. To assist Increasing H.O.P.E get the word out, the National Financial Educators Council, a financial literacy organization, has sponsored their media and awareness campaign.
The 12-month program will offer consistent support and training to residents who are working to pay off debt, increase their credit worthiness, begin a strategic savings plan for the future, or prepare for homeownership. Dorothea Bernique, Financial Trainer & Executive Director of Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Training Center, will provide the financial training and facilitate the program.
“Changing is hard. Learning to do things differently can be challenging,” says Bernique. "What we are offering is an on-going support and accountability system, so those who really want to make a financial contribution to their families and communities can learn to do so and learn to do it along with others who are just like them and have similar goals."
“The National Financial Educators Council commends the work that Increasing H.O.P.E.'s Financial Freedom Club is doing to serve local residents in Charleston South Carolina. Their personal financial literacy education efforts will not only impact the individual participants; it will also benefit their loved ones and entire community,” states Cecile Abad of the NFEC.
Members of Increasing H.O.P.E.'s Financial Freedom Club receive an exclusive invitation to gather with other club members for dinner and training once per month. They also will learn more about Increasing H.O.P.E. trainings, events and education material, along with access to a network of service providers that includes banks, realtors, insurance agents and more to help on their journey to freedom.
“This Financial Freedom Club is going to be beneficial and effective for those who need help with not only making the commitment to be financially free, but support in staying motivated and committed to the process, which isn't always easy,” says Bernique. "Together people will succeed at doing what separately they could never accomplish."
The Financial Freedom Club is a 12-month commitment. The membership fee is $75 and there is a 30-member limit. Registration is now open online at http://www.increasinghope.org or by calling the Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Training Center at (843) 225-4343.
