The more than five million Apple® lovers who have already got their hands on the iPhone® 5 don’t have to take their chances with their precious tech device. iHangy™, the maker of the popular iPhone® protective accessories, has developed a Slip in 5 spinoff of the iHangy™ line that is compatible with the newest version of the iPhone®.

Slip in 5 Case with Necklace

The lynchpin of the new iHangy™ line is the Slip in 5 Case™, which whole-body protects the iPhone® 5 with rubber-coated hard plastic on the exterior and cushioning silicone on the interior.

As millions of Apple® lovers stood in line for their chance to be among the very first to get their hands on the new iPhone® 5, it’s likely a few practical matters were the furthest thing from their minds. Chief among these pragmatic affairs they should have been considering yet probably weren’t amidst all the excitement was what’s going to happen if they drop, scratch or lose their expensive tech investment. iHangy™ is one step ahead of them in the thinking department. The day Apple® unveiled the iPhone® 5 to the public, iHangy™ announced the pre-release of its Slip in 5 Case™ line. The company currentlyoffers its popular iHangy protective gear re-engineered specifically for the iPhone® 5.

According to the Washington Post, by the time the iPhone® 5 hit store shelves on Friday, it had already gone done in the books with a “record-setting pre-sale run of 2 million.”And by the end of the day, “the majority of Sprint-branded retail stores” were “seriously constrained or sold out of iPhone® 5 inventory.” By the close of the weekend, sales figures had topped five million. With a faster chip, a bigger screen and improved speaker clarity, iPhone® 5 owners have a lot to look forward to, but they also have a lot more on the line if they lose or mar the device.

And wear and tear might be more of an issue with the iPhone® 5 than with previous incarnations. “Although the back of this phone may feel sturdier than the glass on the iPhone® 4S, the aluminum will most likely be prone to scratches and wear,” the Washington Post points out. As such, the newspaper recommends, “A case is still probably a good investment.”

iHangy™, the manufacturer of Apple®-compatible protective cases, clip-on keychains and secure necklaces, has redesigned its entire lineup to work seamlessly with the iPhone® 5’s new design. The lynchpin of the new iHangy™ line is the Slip in 5 Case™, which whole-body protects the iPhone® 5 with rubber-coated hard plastic on the exterior and cushioning silicone on the interior.

Depending on how they most often use their iPhone®, consumers can choose from among three Slip in 5 Case options. iHangy™ offers the case as a keychain, necklace or music necklace (with matching earbuds) option. All three variations are available for sale at their website.
