On the evening of Friday, October 19, 2012, Thomas M. Oliva will be honored as “Latino Lawyer of the Year” by LLAQC, along with Daniel Dromm City Councilmember, at the non-profit organization’s 16th Annual Awards Dinner Dance at 7:00pmEDT at Terrace on the Park.

Fueled with the motivation and desire to encourage and support the common interest in the legal profession, LLAQC, which was founded on April 16, 1997, strives to bridge the gap between diversity and bring individuals from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds together. LLAQC is committed to advancing the opportunities for Latino attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. The charitable organization is also dedicated to bringing issues that affect the Latino community to light.

In being selected as “Latino Lawyer of the Year,” Mr. Oliva is both humbled and inspired as he continues to protect the rights of individuals injured and families of those killed in wide range of incidents caused by negligence, including, but not limited to, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and premises liability accidents.
