2012 Venture Capital Master's Lunch Series benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Greater San Francisco Bay Area Chapter

The VC/Founder’s Auction has become an annual event”, said Campaign Manager, Christina Resasco. The first round, which included SV Angel and Menlo Ventures, raised an unprecedented amount of money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Motion To Dismiss Cancer, a team formed to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s, presents round two of the “2012 Venture Capital Master’s Lunch Series,” an auction that gives anyone and everyone an opportunity to win private meetings with some of Silicon Valley’s top venture capitalists and startup founders, with all proceeds going towards LLS and cancer research.

Round Two includes:
Private meetings with Kittu Kolluri, General Partner at New Enterprise Associates and Scott Sandell, General Partner at New Enterprise Associates. Lunch with Byron Deeter, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, Ethan Kurzweil, Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners and Sarah Tavel, from Bessemer Venture Partners port co Pinterest. Private meetings with Josh Stein, Managing Director from Draper Fisher Jurveston, and Patrick Chung, Partner at New Enterprise Associates & Jonathan Heiliger, General Partner at North Bridge Ventures.

Motion To Dismiss Cancer is also auctioning off lunches with the founders of Lytro, co-founder and CEO Ren Ng, and Pulse, co-founders Akshay Kothari & Ankit Gupta.

Entrepreneurs can have representatives from these teams all to themselves to get feedback on their ideas, plead with them to fund their ventures, or maybe even get them to help create a pitch deck. Combined, these VCs represent every major area of investment, including energy technology, information technology enterprise, infrastructure and services, electronics, consumer technology, healthcare, cloud computing, financial services and everything in between.

Bidding for this year’s auction opened last Tuesday with round one, which included the entire SV Angel team and four Managing Directors from Menlo Ventures. The first round, which ran for ten days on eBay, raised an unprecedented amount of money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.This year’s auction has raised more money in round one, than the past two years combined. We’ve had bids come in from all over the world, including Australia, Poland and Cambodia. We are deeply grateful to all the Venture Capitalists and Founders who have donated their time to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Annual VC/Founders Auction is a high-demand item listed on eBay. Every seven days, another round of Venture Capitalists and Founders auctions will be announced and hosted on eBay.
