The Role of REST in Enterprise Integration
The webinar will explore the concept of REST and its role in enterprise integration. The session also will examine the challenges associated with connecting RESTful applications to different business applications and providing the corresponding solution patterns to address them. Additionally, the webinar will present real-world REST integration examples and illustrate use of the WSO2 middleware platform.
Webinar presenter Hiranya Jayathilaka is a member of the WSO2 integration technologies management committee. Hiranya is an HTTP expert and spearheads the work on supporting REST APIs within the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus and WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform. He is a long-time committer on the Apache Synapse and Apache Xerces2/J projects; author of the FIX transport for Apache Synapse; and a contributor to several other open source projects, including Apache Derby and Apache Web Services.
