ProAxis takes the guesswork out of leveling your footage in Final Cut Pro X," Said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios. This plugin also lets you present your footage in unique and interesting perspectives.

California film studio and Final Cut Pro X plugin developer, Pixel Film Studios, announced the release of ProAxis, professional 3D camera controller and leveler for Final Cut Pro X.

"ProAxis takes the guesswork out of leveling your footage in Final Cut Pro X," Said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios, "This plugin also lets you present your footage in unique and interesting perspectives."

With the 3D camera in ProAxis, users can quickly and easily position, zoom, scale, and rotate their footage on all three axises. Then they can use the depth of field and lens angle controls to give their footage a cinematic look in Final Cut Pro X.

Filmmakers who captured their footage on an tilted tripod can use the leveling tool to effortlessly find the correct horizon line and adjust their footage. The leveling tool automatically scales the footage to prevent tearing as the image is leveled.

Editors can use this FCPX effect to captive their audience by showing them angles and perspectives that are unique and interesting. With ProAxis users can frame their footage in diverse and expected ways with the 3D camera directly inside Final Cut Pro X.

ProAxis was created by the team at Pixel Film Studios to integrate perfectly with Final Cut Pro X to enhance the editing experience. Users can simply drag and drop one of the ProAxis effects on top of their footage in FCPX timeline and use the on screen controls to quickly and easily manipulate their image.
