Chris Raggio of Advanced Neuropsych is launching an online app that works directly with patients with cognitive disorders to better track and monitor their response to therapeutics in an easy and affordable manner. Medical technology companies are attempting to bridge the gap between medical care and technology that can improve medical care. Advanced NeuroPsych is focusing on products that deliver cheaper, faster, more efficient patient care. However, better understanding of patient progress and response to therapeutics is needed. Advanced Neuropsych is providing a patient friendly interface that can connect technology and biomedicine, with focus on better delivering patient specific therapeutics
Brain and cognitive disorders are on the rise United States and internationally, with approximately 1 in 4 adults, have or will have suffered from one or more mental disorders in a given year. Given the lack of understanding of the molecular mechanisms of mental illness and patient specific therapeutics, determining whether a patient will respond to a particular therapeutic remains a tremendous challenge in the medical community. Recent studies have implicated patient specific variations in diseases, which modern medicine has yet to consider when treatment plans and biologics are administered.
Developed by Dr. Chris Raggio, this app is a unique tool that works directly with patients to track the progress of their illness and to provide valuable tools to determine how quickly and effectively a patient or patient cohort responds. Advanced Neuropsych is also working to extend its technology to be utilized by a broad patient cohort suffering from mental illness.
