Israel Tennis Centers Foundation reveals the future of the Middle East through the youth peer-to-peer program documentary being filmed this weekend at the Israel Tennis Centers (ITC) exhibition.

This weekend Israel Tennis Centers, a social service agency in Israel that helps disadvantaged youth and kids from diverse regional backgrounds, will be in Toronto Canada to launch the Future of the Middle East through the lens of young peer-to-peers.

The ITC is holding a spectator’s tennis exhibition this Sunday, June 2nd, hosted by Sheila and Keith Alexander at the Maple Downs Golf & Country Club in Maple, Ontario, starting at 5 pm. The purpose of the event is to see first-hand the impact that the centers have on these children, both as athletes and as young people working toward a positive, peaceful future to generate support for the program.

Also invited is POV Films, a Toronto film company that takes kids from diverse and sometimes challenging backgrounds and gives them a chance to be to filmmakers.

This peer-to-peer effort is going to film a documentary around the children from Israel and share with the rest of the world both the challenges and opportunities these kids are being given through their involvement with the Israel Tennis Centers.

Kids from all over the region who have grown up in conflict are now playing and living together in harmony through the initiatives that take place at the centers. POV Films will then follow the tennis center kids back to Israel later this year to document first-hand the transitional experience these kids are a part of in setting a new direction for the next generation.

What better way to get a kid to share their experience and inspire us all, than to have them share it with another kid.
