The awards were presented at the WBC’s annual banquet on March 22, 2013 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC.
The following HITT subcontractors were recognized for displaying exceptional skill in their fields:
ASST, for Architectural Millwork, and Boatman and Magnani, for Ceramic Tile and Terrazzo, in the Chevy Chase Pavilion Atrium in Washington, DC. StreetSense was the architect on the project, and the work was nominated by HITT Contracting Inc.
J.E. Richards, Inc., for Lighting Systems on the Northrop Grumman project in McLean, Virginia. The architect was Oz Architecture. The project was nominated by J.E. Richards, Inc.
J.E. Richards, Inc., for Power Generation, Distribution and Switchgear, as well as Special Systems (including security, control and instrumentation), for Sibley Hospital Cancer Center in Washington, DC. Leach Wallace Associates was the architect on the project, and it was nominated by J.E. Richards, Inc.
Power Solutions, LLC for Power Generation, Distribution and Switchgear on the Children’s National Medical Center OR / MRI UPS and 15KV Switchboard Replacement projects in Washington, DC. The architect on both projects was Leach Wallace Associates, and they were nominated by Power Solutions, LLC.
