Cambridge based auto industry marketing company, Pepper Gang, announced its online survey and invited people in Boston and across the country to participate. The survey explores how shoppers research automotive purchases. At the end of the survey period, one participant will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift card.
“By taking the survey, participants will help us learn how people research their next car or truck purchase,” said Stefanie Daneau, co-founder of Pepper Gang. “This helps us better serve auto dealers who want to improve their online presence, and that helps the dealers better serve their customers.”
Daneau added, “We look forward to awarding the $50 grand prize to one of our survey participants; after all, it is the season of giving!”
Research shows that consumers use social media, review sites, and other online resources to inform their purchasing decisions. According to Google:
The Pepper Gang survey seeks to understand which specific activities car shoppers use to research their automotive purchase and use that information to help auto dealers customize their marketing efforts and provide the most helpful information to consumers when they need it.
The survey includes questions on where people start researching a car purchase, how third party reviews affect purchasing, and whether a company’s online presence factors into buying decisions.
