Bernard T. Bartilad Promoted to Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking at MB Financial Bank

Bernard T. Bartilad has been promoted from First Vice President to Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking at MB Financial Bank. A seasoned member of the banking community for over two decades, Bartilad has spent the last 14 years at MB serving privately-owned, middle market companies. He also heads MB’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) initiative, set up to strategically expand MB’s visibility and involvement in the LGBT community.

Bartilad has worked with various non-profit organizations in their capital expansion initiatives through tax exempt bond financing. His clients are involved in manufacturing, transportation and logistics, food distribution, assembly, healthcare, property management, social services and education.

Growing up in the Philippines, Bartilad graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines and completed his MBA at University of Illinois at Chicago. Currently, Bartilad is a board member of the Center on Halsted, the Midwest's most comprehensive LGBTQ community center.
