...one of the best technologies to come to the front desk in the past ten years.
Chicago, IL. (PRWEB) June 21, 2013
As the hotel and hospitality industry continues to place an increased emphasis on security compliance, data privacy and more efficient workflow at the front desk, HeadsUp FD has rocketed into the space and is being touted as “one of the best technologies to come to the front desk in the past ten years”. The company will be demonstrating its latest products at booth 149 at HITEC 2013, the world’s largest hospitality technology trade show. HITEC 2013 will take place June 24-27 at the Minneapolis Convention Center located at 1301 Second Avenue South.
According to the company’s website, HeadsUp FD enables hotels, resorts and casinos to enhance the quality of guest service by giving front desk agents more heads up time with their guests. Customers report that HeadsUp FD helps decrease instances of 'piggy-backing' (two agents sharing the same computer session), increases user satisfaction and facilitates user compliance with security and privacy regulations such as PCI-DSS.
“We have found that HeadsUp FD speaks for itself which is why we love putting it in people’s hands and letting them feel it for themselves,” stated Peggy Clark, VP of Sales & Marketing for HeadsUp FD. “It quickly becomes a very natural and intuitive extension of how we interact with our computers and once you use it, our customers tell us they never want to go back to the ‘old way’ of logging in and out again. We are honored to be a part of HITEC 2013 and look forward to a tremendous event.”
HeadsUp FD is currently deployed at hotel properties across the US as well as Mexico and the Caribbean, and new properties are slated to come online in Asia and Europe later this year.
Recent HeadsUp FD deployments include Hyatt Regency Chicago, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.
One of HeadsUp FD’s newest deployments is Hyatt Regency Chicago, the largest Hyatt property in the world, which just unveiled their $168M renovation and is being called a “technology-driven oasis”. Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, another HeadsUp FD property, also just completed a $110M renovation and in partnership with the McCormick Place Convention Center boasts the “largest collection of first class meeting space in the Western Hemisphere” with over 2 million square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space, as reported by ExhibitorOnline.com.
“Our customers appreciate the elegance and simplicity of HeadsUp FD and how easy it is to install and manage. It requires little to no IT support and our customers also report a reduction in help desk calls after deploying the technology,” says Neal Berz, CEO of MIS Computer. “Using their proximity badge which they normally have connected to their belt or vest on a retractable lanyard for convenience, front desk agents using HeadsUp FD now just "tap-in" to log-on, “tap-over” another user’s session to automate fast user switching or “tap-out” to secure their workstation when they walk away.”
The HeadsUp FD booth at HITEC 2013 will feature live product demonstrations as well as offer guests hands-on opportunities to interact with the solution real-time.
