Laser Paint Spray Tool

Intech Services is the sole distributor for DuPont™ Teflon® industrial coatings to the US and Canada and proprietor of the CoaterONE e-marketplace, which is a total resource for the industrial shop.
Creating an efficient process in a coating shop can be a money saver, allowing shops to be competitive in pricing and reducing waste in the process. Intech Services found a new tool that can improve spray techniques and limit the amount of paint wasted. Laser Paint is a tool that attaches to any gravity or siphon feed spray gun. Laser Paint is very light-weight: at only 2.5 ounces, it is not a heavy addition to spray guns. There are two settings to improve application technique during production or training.
The first setting is the Dual Laser Distance option in which the sprayer sets optimum gun-to-part distance. Laser Paint provides immediate feedback when the sprayer goes outside of pre-set parameters. Laser Paint utilizes two laser dots that appear as one dot when the sprayer is at the chosen distance setting. Any deviation from that distance will display two dots, which indicate that the sprayer is no longer at the desired gun-to-part distance.
The second setting is the Single Laser Direction option, which tracks direction and helps improve 50% overlap. By turning the dial drastically one way, one laser dot is removed so that the sprayer can concentrate on direction only and achieve 50% overlap.
Laser Paint provides many benefits to coating shops by increasing transfer efficiency up to 38.8%, reducing overspray, decreasing material consumption, cutting VOC emissions, and ensuring consistent spray thickness. Sprayers can use Laser Paint to provide accurate targeting, reduce the number of defects in coatings, and improve spray techniques. By using Laser Paint, coating shops can save money in coatings and time on the shop floor.
