Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Florida, have designed a hairdryer that would look and sound like an animal to appeal to children. This invention is patented.

The “Critter Do’s” could serve as a child-friendly alternative hairdryer. Helping to promote fun and enjoyment, the lower power would eliminate singed hair or burning, and it would be fun to operate and easy to use. Lightweight, ergonomic and aesthetically-pleasing, the Critter Do’s could be used at a salon, barbershop or at home.

The plastic hairdryer would resemble a conventional one in design, with the main section designed to mimic the head of an animal, such as an elephant, cat, dog, horse, zebra, fish, etc. Featuring a no-slip rubber grip, The Critter Do’s also includes a retractable cord, large control buttons for ease of use and an audio mechanism. When the audio button is pressed, a recording of the animal would play while the parent or salon owner dries the hair.

“As a mobile-spa and barbershop owner, I’m always looking for child-friendly products, and I haven’t yet found a hairdryer that’s made to appeal specifically to children,” said the inventor. “That’s when the co-inventor and I had the idea of a hairdryer that looks and sounds like an animal.”

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-HLW-612 at (800) 851-6030.
