Valencia Group, a Houston-based hotel management and development company, is pleased to announce that all three of its hotels have earned coveted spots on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List for 2013. Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, CA, anchor of the Santana Row mixed-use development; Hotel Sorella, anchor of the CITYCENTRE mixed-use district in Houston, TX; and Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, located on the waterfront in the heart of downtown San Antonio, TX, were among the 510 hotels, resorts and cruise lines that scored highest based on the results of early 47,000 reader surveys. The 2013 Gold List results will be featured in the magazine’s January issue and are currently online.
The Gold List placed Hotel Valencia Santana Row as 10th in California. Hotel Sorella CITYCENTRE was the only hotel in Houston to make the list and ranked 2nd in all of Texas. Hotel Valencia Riverwalk was among only two San Antonio properties that made the list. Approximately eight million votes are tabulated, taking into account criteria that include rooms, service, food, location, design and activities.

This is the third year in a row that Hotel Sorella has attained Gold List status.
