ALBANY, NY (PRWEB) January 05, 2013
Continuing its ongoing business development initiative in the Capital Region, Cullen and Dykman LLP, one of New York’s most venerable law firms, today announced that Robert G. Wakeman has become a partner to the firm in its Albany, New York office, according to Brian T. FitzGerald, Partner-in-Charge of Cullen and Dykman’s Albany office. Mr. Wakeman brings nearly three decades of experience, concentrating in banking and commercial lending, to the firm.

He has arranged tax-exempt bond financing for numerous not-for-profit institutions through various issuers including the New York State Dormitory Authority and local industrial development agencies. The lawyer rating service, Martindale Hubbell, rates Mr. Wakeman “AV” as a “pre-eminent” attorney in his field.
“Bob brings an unsurpassed level of legal expertise to our clients in the Albany area,” said Mr. FitzGerald. “His skills and successful track record will greatly facilitate our expansion plans in the region and we look forward to working with him.”
“Well-known throughout the Albany-area’s business and legal communities, Bob Wakeman is a great addition to Cullen and Dykman’s Banking Practice,” said Thomas Douglas, the firm’s Managing Partner. “He’s well accomplished in his practice area and we are pleased to have him on board.”
Cullen and Dykman, a full-service law firm, with New York offices in Manhattan and Garden City, opened its Albany office last June as part of a strategic business development initiative focused on the Capital Region. The firm’s Albany office is located at One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Avenue.
