The quality of nominations in this year’s National Fitness Awards were higher than ever...
Romford, Essex (PRWEB UK) 6 January 2013
Now in its third year, The National Fitness Awards are now an established part of the industry. With nominations growing every year, the high calibre of entries means that to become a finalist is an outstanding achievement alone. Hosted by Biggest Loser personal trainer Charlotte Ord, the evening welcomes only excellent and inspiring work taking place in fitness facilities all over the UK.
Event director Judith Halkerston said, “The quality of nominations in this year’s National Fitness Awards were higher than ever and all our winners can be justifiably proud of their achievements. The awards are the biggest, free-to-enter awards in the industry and I hope that our winners will continue to flourish and build on their great successes of 2012.”
The first phase of the comprehensive judging process, carried out by leading fitness publication Workout magazine saw GO30 face strong competition from hundreds of entries, making the final shortlist of six in their category and beating a selection of some of the most well known facilities in the country from as far afield as Wigan, Hull and Wokingham.
A panel of expert judges chose GO30 as the winners, praising the club for having ‘a great balance of motivation and education’ and keeping women’s needs at the heart of everything that they do.
The awards, organised by Script Media in partnership with Workout and headline sponsor ServiceSport, saw over 600 guests attend the ceremony including famous faces such as former international heptathlete and television presenter Caroline Pearce and leading fitness model Carly Thornton.
