I encourage people to watch the pilot this Wednesday and then email trutv.com and let producers know what you think.

TRU T.V. will be airing its pilot show of “Alaskan Showdown” on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013. The show will be broadcasted on HD TV on Channel 663 at 7:00pm and then on regular cable channel 29 at 10 PM in Alaska. Nationally, viewers are encouraged to check their local T.V. listings for show times in their area.
“This will be a 30 minute pilot featuring two Alaskan grudge matches,” said promoter Jim Patton of Jim Patton promotions d/b/a Thursday Night at the Fights.
“Thursday Night at the Fights has been a center attraction for Alaska’s boxers and fans for 24 years. The pilot that airs Wednesday gives a glimpse of our ring action and is an invitation to people with major disagreements, and that’s why we’re telling folks that if you have a problem with someone, come and battle it out at Thursday Night at the Fights in Alaska,” added Patton.
TRU TV will be interested in viewer opinion and fans that enjoy the pilot program. Access to information on the show, scheduling and input can be made at TRU’s website truTV.com and Patton noted that the more input given that positively endorses the pilot, the better likelihood it will become a regular show featured on the network. TRU TV features shows like Jesse Ventura’s “Conspiracy Theory,” Hulk Hogan’s “Micro-Championship Wrestling,” and the highly popular “Most Shocking” series.
“This is huge opportunity for Alaska and the nation, bringing national T.V. audiences face to face with Polar Meltdowns and Alaska boxing action resolving grudge's between family members, friends and pals, and work place colleagues who can’t stand each other,” said Jim Patton. “I encourage people to watch the pilot this Wednesday and then email trutv.com and let producers know what you think,” said Patton.
