It’s hardly surprising that we have seen a record number of new company registrations in recent months, this is an area that has a lot going for it
Surbiton, Surrey (PRWEB UK) 13 January 2013
Between July and September last year, company formations in Surbiton reached a record high. There were 137 new companies formed during this period - more than any other third quarter on record for the town and a 7% rise on the previous Q3.
Net company growth also increased during the third quarter, suggesting the town’s economy is doing well despite tough economic conditions.
Surbiton has traditionally been an economically stable town, though the Duport report shows that company formation did suffer at the height of the financial crisis. Recent plans to “rejuvenate” the town, including widening pavements, planting trees and removing street clutter, may well have been a factor in the recent surge of company registrations.
Managing Director of Duport.co.uk, Peter Valaitis said:
“Surbiton is a great place for business startups to locate, with a skilled workforce and great transport links to London. It’s hardly surprising that we have seen a record number of new company registrations in recent months, this is an area that has a lot going for it.”
