Randy Sims’ hands-on, customer-centered approach to recruiting seems to be working for him and his firm, Sims Executive Search. The 21-year veteran of the recruiting industry has been recognized as a top recruiter by TheLadders.
TheLadders, based in New York, is a job-matching service that helps job seekers connect with employers and recruiters. Using data from the third quarter of 2012, TheLadders recently compiled a list of the top 200 agency recruiters. They selected the recruiters who were the most active contributors to their service. TheLadders, which serves around 20,000 recruiters, ranked Sims as number 175 on the list.

After six years in retail management, Sims entered the recruiting industry in 1992. In a 13-year period, he worked for two of the largest staffing companies in the US. There, he consistently ranked in the top 10% of his peers and even ranked as high as the top 3% in corporations exceeding 2,500 employees. He was a certified trainer in both organizations, conducting national field training for recruiters and leading national corporate training sessions.
In 2005, he opened Sims Executive Search where he serves as the CEO and Owner. His wife, Teresa Sims, joined him as Partner in 2010. They pride themselves on a hands-on recruiting approach and an unwavering commitment to integrity, honesty, and trust.
