Romford, Essex (PRWEB UK) 14 January 2013
The third quarter of the year saw Essex town, Romford break records for company formation and net company growth.
Between July and September, there were 346 new companies formed in the area - more than any third quarter on record for the town and a 15% rise on the previous year’s figure.
During the same period, net company growth rose from 147 to 148. Although this is only a small rise, the figure represents a record Q3 for Romford.
Romford is the largest retail centre in the Thames Gateway London area and one of London's eleven metropolitan centres. It has a bustling town centre and a thriving night-time economy that have helped it bounce back from the effects of the recession.

“Romford has great links to central London and a thriving economy - no wonder a record number of new businesses are setting up there.”
“With record company formation, record net company growth and a rise in UK company share during the third quarter of last year, 2013 looks set to be a success for the town.”
