Maas agreed by saying that when reputable websites pick up your links, it triggers a sharing frenzy. “If a website with a lot of fans or followers shares your link, it’s sure to open up a lot of avenues for your page to be seen,” he said. “Though you might not get picked up right away, you probably will if you keep at it. Like all good things, SEO success takes time.”
Two other mistakes the article mentioned were limiting the workload to one person and not spending enough money on SEO. The Internet is a vast entity and the article said it’s nearly impossible for one person to cover all the areas needed to yield a successful campaign. Many marketers also think they can get away by spending the lowest amount of money possible on SEO strategies.
“Hiring a social media agency is probably your best bet when thinking about your SEO budget,” Maas said. “You can’t skim through SEO by paying for low-priced services because you won’t see any results that way. I’d recommend any serious marketer to revise their budget and put more money toward SEO strategies and social media marketing.”
