TASC, Inc. has named Michael E. Feeley regional director of the company’s San Diego office. In this role, Feeley will oversee TASC’s support of its SPAWAR customer as well as TASC’s operations in the region. He succeeds Arthur J. (Jim) Gilbert, a retired Navy captain, who is retiring after 15 years with TASC and its predecessor companies.
“Mike brings to this leadership role a deep understanding of naval operations and an enviable record of growth and innovation,” says Tom Kilcline, vice president of TASC’s Defense Business Unit. “We look forward to his continuing Jim’s strong efforts to bring the best TASC has to offer to our Navy customers.”
Feeley worked at Lockheed Martin from 1998 to 2011, most recently as vice president and general manager of C4I Systems supporting U.S. and foreign military customers. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Feeley served in the U.S. Navy as a career submarine officer, retiring in 1998 with the rank of captain. His 27-year Navy career spanned multiple command assignments as well as tours in headquarters staff, including those of the Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Feeley earned a B.S. in operations analysis at the U.S. Naval Academy and is a member of the board of directors of the Naval Submarine League.
