Being social on the web, has come naturally to us, and we are confident our enhanced social profiles are attracting newly earned fans who might one day become customers too!

Over Christmas time, Ivy Bridge Ltd. well established social media presence proved very effective in providing a fast response to customer enquiries easing any concerns over delivery times and dates.

With this increased participation in social media, the engagement has seen a rapid growth in the volume of followers for the Gift orientated websites and fans are logging on to their favourite social networks to consume their daily dose of content.

The mobile savvy generation demand a constant stream of news updates, so blogging has also become a mainstay and this collaborative approach between website and social media has seen 5,000 newly earned subscribers supporting the three branded stores, Baby Experiences, Gift Treasures, and Wedding Gifts.

Owner Elisabeth Keck happily reports: “Being social on the web, has come naturally to us, and we are confident our enhanced social profiles are attracting newly earned fans who might one day become customers too!”

This view is also echoed by co-partner, Veronika Covington: “Social networking is fast and instantaneous and by catering for those accessing the internet through mobile, tablets and other devices, 24 hours a day our attention to creating quirky updates can introduce new audiences to our brands.”

Owing to the wide range of products available on an Ivy Bridge store, the typical customer demographic covers grooms, brides, engaged couples, expectant parents and now social networking enthusiasts. The challenge for the Gift specialists, is to furnish all of these types with interesting and anecdotal social updates.

This year more social networks are expected to launch, and activity will initially focus on Valentine’s Day, whilst keeping the product range on trend.

Plans are underway for Valentine’s themed competitions, offers and promotions that should appeal to the many men and women following Baby Experiences, Gift Treasures, and Wedding Gifts. The women’s gift ideas section should prove inspiring for ideas to surprise spouses, partners and friends alike!
