"I've always felt it was important to foster a sense of awareness in my children to the needs of the community, so I wanted them to be involved today. But, I think they had the most fun hanging out with Ronald McDonald," she said.

Beth's Birthday Benefit Bash presented by evoplanning on December 12, 2012 at St George Family Center in Fairlawn, OH to raise donations and awareness for Ronald McDonald House of Akron was deemed a huge success. More than 100 guests arrived at 12:12 and were greeted by Ronald McDonald himself.
The gift table filled up quickly with items brought by guests from the Top 12 list provided by the Ronald McDonald House of Akron. Everything from bags of individually wrapped food items to disinfectant wipes to lip balms overflowed. The amount of gift cards donated so the House can purchase items as needed was an incredible sight. "People's generosity is amazing," claimed Beth Leipold host of the Bash.
"None of this could have been possible without the generous support from our sponsors, donors, and guests. The Seattle-based, software integration firm Confluex, was our 'Birthday Cake' level sponsor. Even though they're headquartered in Seattle, their COO is locally based with a strong sense of community," said Ms. Leipold.
Facebooth owners Rob and Melissa Keres were on hand to take fun pictures of the guests in whatever props their hearts could imagine. Ms. Leipold had her children and a few of their friends on hand to assist guests with donations and sell raffle tickets. "I've always felt it was important to foster a sense of community awareness and I wanted to continue that today. But, I think they had the most fun hanging out with Ronald McDonald," she said.
Guests were seated at tables adorned with flowers from Niki Earnest of Springtime Flowers. After enjoying the delicious buffet lunch provided by TLC Catering, a variety of bite size confections were available for indulgence prepared by Tammy Weisel of Chewy Gooeys Bakery. Beth even provided dessert boxes so guests could share the delicious treats.
A check for over $2100 in additional proceeds will be presented to Ronald McDonald House of Akron on January 16, 2013. "It took a lot of planning and hard work. I'm very proud of this accomplishment," Beth said. She gives much of the credit to the professional, Debbie McKinney, of Time to Spare and said without her organization and time management skills, the event would have never been the success that it was.
