IKEA, The Life Improvement Store, announces today the launch of its official Pinterest page (http://pinterest.com/IKEAUSA/). The new platform will give home enthusiasts another destination for design ideas and smart solutions to create a better everyday life at home for less. The page currently houses 14 interactive boards, with content ranging from seasonal inspiration to do-it-yourself projects throughout the home.
The IKEA USA Pinterest page will feature boards curated by a team of IKEA design experts. Current boards include themes such as “Ring in the New Year,” “DIY with IKEA,” and “Kitchens: The Heart of Your Home.” New boards will be introduced throughout the year highlighting new trends, inspiration for areas of the home, and IKEA products. Users can browse boards, re-pin their favorites and engage with IKEA and other design fans.
“We hope that our new Pinterest page can help people turn inspiration into reality in their homes,” says Alia Kemet, IKEA U.S. Media Manager. “On our boards, fans can look for and organize their favorite IKEA ideas – from design concepts to home furnishing solutions and how to put it all together.”
The new Pinterest page is the most recent online inspiration tool from IKEA. These tools are part of the IKEA effort to offer inspiration to help consumers improve their lives at home, and include:
