Digital Technology International (DTI™) has signed an agreement with Grupo OPSA, the largest media group in Honduras, to install DTI Circulation software in DTI Cloud, the company’s award-winning cloud platform.

The industry’s top-selling circulation system will combine with DTI ContentPublisher and DTI Advertising at Grupo OPSA to complete an integrated solution set, optimizing all areas of their media operations. This signing marks the first DTI Cloud deployment in the Central American region.

Grupo OPSA elected to install all Digital Technology solutions to create a unified publishing enterprise at all of their publications—La Prensa, El Heraldo, Diez, Estilo, and multiple magazines across Honduras and Central America. DTI Circulation adds new operational efficiencies through a best-practices business model, increasing audience engagement, and improving digital workflows.

“Our current circulation system doesn’t meet our actual business needs, and DTI Circulation, compared with other systems, always comes out on top,” said Marlon Vega, CIO, Grupo OPSA. “We are always looking for additional revenues and cost-savings. The DTI systems, especially in DTI Cloud, give us what we are looking for. Having one information platform will simplify our business processes. With accurate data we are better able to monetize customer databases.”

Grupo OPSA will use DTI Circulation primarily to manage their print publications, but will also test the digital subscription waters to expand their operations to meet the expected audience demand for delivery on new digital channels. DTI Circulation is a powerful, technology-driven solution that will manage all subscription data, including their future digital and print packaging, in flexible combinations and bundles—a vehicle to immediately increase revenue. Grupo OPSA will benefit from empowering their customers to maintain their own accounts through a self-service Web portal.

Through DTI Cloud, Grupo OPSA will always have the latest version of DTI Circulation without waiting for on-premises upgrade.

“We are beyond excited to see them implement this circulation and cloud combination,” said Gustavo Berges, sales director, Latin America, Digital Technology International. “It will provide them with the marketing tools to engage with their growing audience and expand revenue. This will be the showcase for media companies around the world, not just Latin America, as to what can be accomplished by implementing the entire Digital Technology publishing suite.”
