“I teach yoga because it works. I practice yoga because it completes me,” says the exuberant leader who believes that everyone can make the same discovery.
Maui, Hawaii (PRWEB) January 08, 2013
Spend two minutes with Kathryn Budig, Los Angeles-based Vinyasa Yoga instructor and contributing editor for Women’s Health, and catch her enthusiasm for yoga and its ability to help practitioners discover their unlimited potential. “I teach yoga because it works. I practice yoga because it completes me,” says the exuberant leader who believes that everyone can make the same discovery. Budig is set to conduct her popular Vinyasa Yoga Retreat February 19-24, 2013, returning to Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea where last year she helped guests get started with a yoga practice or move a practice in progress to the next level.
The retreat is open to Four Seasons Resort Maui guests as part of its Unforgettable Events, a series of one-of-a-kind experiences in which celebrated athletes and experts from many fields teach a diverse array of special retreats, programs and clinics. For complete package details, visit http://maui.fourseasons.com.
This year, the retreat is open to guests staying at other resorts and hotels as well as Maui residents." For local attendees and non-Four Seasons guests, the fee is $800 and will include four sunrise and three sunset yoga sessions with an off-site excursion to an inspirational setting, a Welcome Reception, a Closing Ceremony, and "talk Yoga" sessions.
Budig will be arriving in Maui after an international teaching tour. Her goal for the retreat is to cultivate each participant’s physical, mental and spiritual health. She works with students on a number of poses designed to build and deepen a practice, teaching the correct ways to safely engage the body, and she will demonstrate and coach practitioners on Vinyasa Flow, a combination of syncing movement and breath.
The stunning Wailea Beach and other local natural settings will serve as the backdrop for this experience while the comforts and amenities of the award-winning Four Seasons Resort Maui provide a luxurious home-base stay for those booking the resort package. This year, Budig is also planning to include time on the water for Paddle Board Yoga. To make reservations, contact pat.makozak(at)fourseasons.com or call 1 (808) 874-2939.
