As the two times in a row Skytrax 'Best Airline of Europe' award winner and the airline that flies to the most countries in the world, Turkish Airlines also has a strong social media presence. So they live and breathe by the brand slogan ''Globally Yours''. Turkish Airline social media audience is just as diverse as their flight network. So when it was time to celebrate their fans' New Year, they wanted to do it in a way where all the fans from all over the world would feel special.
World Coverage was created to celebrate all their fans' new year right at 12:00am when they hit 2013 in their local time zones. That meant creating 16 cover photos for 16 different GMTs and publishing them at exactly 12 o'clock local time. Every cover photo included the country names that were celebrating the new year on that specific GMT.
