Just a warning... [Platt and Wright] really are 'Kings of Cliffhangers'. Every ending makes you want to come back for more. But don't let that stop you since "more" is exactly what they'll give you.

A new ebook by Sean Platt and David Wright has been well received by readers, with all reviewers so far awarding the Serial Box five stars out of a possible five.

In the month since it launched, the Serial Box - which breaks new ground in how ebooks are delivered to readers - has received seven top notch reviews.

The Serial Box ebook includes pilot episodes for five of Platt and Wright's serialized novels, including the bestsellers Yesterday's Gone and Z 2134.

"Anyone who watches TV will be familiar with pilot episodes," Platt said. "They're the first episode of a new concept, and they're made to hook TV networks into a story, so they want to broadcast a whole series.

"With serialized fiction making a comeback on the Kindle, it's not TV networks who need to try out new concepts and stories, but readers. That's what Serial Box is all about - it gives our readers a go-to book to try on all our different stories for size."

David Wright added: "As writers, we like to let our imaginations roam far and wide. We write about everything from zombies to the paranormal to the apocalypse.

"Because of this, we're aware that many readers will like some of our stories more than others. The Serial Box helps readers find their favorites - though we hope they'll enjoy all of them.

"With everything we write, our number one aim is to tell a compelling story. And for us, a good story keeps the reader gripped to the page way past their bedtime."

Reviewers agree that the Serial Box provides the ideal introduction to Platt and Wright's fiction.

"If you're not sure which of their serialized novels to read this is definitely the place to start," wrote Michael on Amazon.com. "I was pleasantly surprised to find that I very much want to read four of the five serials."

Another reviewer, Crissy Moss, explained just how addictive the stories are.

"Just a warning... [Platt and Wright] really are 'Kings of Cliffhangers'. Every ending makes you want to come back for more. But don't let that stop you since "more" is exactly what they'll give you."

The Serial Box is available to download from Amazon.com priced $2.99. It includes pilot episodes for Yesterday's Gone, WhiteSpace, Z 2134, ForNevermore and Available Darkness. Also included is the Dark Crossings short story Monsters.
