Our Government clients face many similar challenges to those found in the commercial sector. Government organizations have to deal with stringent security, records management, and the need to quickly find relevant information to accomplish their missions.

McLean, VA, US and Stevenage, UK (PRWEB) January 10, 2013

Concept Searching, a global leader in semantic metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management software, and developer of the Smart Content Framework™, is pleased to announce that its global Government and Intelligence Practice has achieved over 500% growth for 2012.

Concept Searching has had an active presence within the US Government since 2004, with clients such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the UK Ministry of Defence, the US Army Records Management and Declassification Agency, and also the US Air Force Medical Service, which is a client still active and deployed after eight years and supports more than 66,000 users.

The growth in 2012 was fuelled by the acquisition of new clients, including the US Army Medical Command, the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and NATO, as well as a major US Government department with a solution being deployed on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

A major growth factor, that has become increasingly important over the past two years, is the area of intelligent metadata enabled migration and compliance solutions, which includes semantic metadata tagging, auto-classification, taxonomy management, and search enhancements. In a recent analysis of the Concept Searching customer base, 33% of clients have deployed the Concept Searching technology for intelligent migration, 23% for text analytics, 29% for sensitive information and data privacy, 25% for records identification, and 21% for eDiscovery and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Additionally, the company has maintained its enterprise wide Authority to Operate (ATO) within the US Air Force, and its Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) within the US Army. Concept Searching has the only Microsoft SharePoint integrated search taxonomy and auto-classification platform able to deliver intelligent metadata enabled migration and compliance solutions with US DoD enterprise certifications, again making the organization the natural choice for all federal and DoD enterprise search taxonomy and auto-classification deployments.

On the back of its success in 2012, Concept Searching is currently strengthening its Government and Intelligence Practice in sales, marketing and support, and will be continuing to certify a small number of partners to perform work in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australasia.

According to Martin Garland, President of Concept Searching, “Our Government clients face many similar challenges to those found in the commercial sector. Government organizations have to deal with stringent security, records management, and the need to quickly find relevant information to accomplish their missions. With our experience in the Government sector, our leadership in integrated Microsoft solutions has made us the vendor of choice for many Government entities. Our advanced, platform-agnostic, core search and classification technology continues to deliver value to our Government clients. Specifically in the Government sector, clients are increasingly deploying our technology to resolve the issues of migration, compliance and governance, intelligent content migration, sensitive information breaches, records identification, and information transparency. Solving these issues with a single technology platform drives down costs and reduces time to deploy, which is a key objective for all Government organizations.”
