After taking the personal online storage world by storm in 2012, JustCloud now aim to take a share of the business cloud storage sector.
JustCloud has stated that over 2 million users worldwide have subscribed to their personal cloud storage plans. This area of the market was previously dominated by large companies giving away small amounts of storage space for free. However, JustCloud sought a refreshing angle, focusing on selling unlimited plans with plentiful features which enabled users to automate their cloud storage by backing up whole devices to the cloud, instead of simply having a single desktop folder.
JustCloud aim to compete with Dropbox, SugarSync and Box.com, who focus on the business and enterprise cloud storage market.
Features of the JustCloud business service include team sharing, unlimited computers, automated scheduled backups, and free mobile apps for all team members.
Daniel Short, JustCloud Operations Manager, said, “I’m excited we can finally cater for business users. We often have companies who require team backup which we did not offer previously. Now that our business service is complete, however, we aim to become competitive in this market in 2013.”
