LaunchSmart is a consulting company that helps direct, plan, and launch multi-level marketing, known more commonly by the acronym MLM, as well as Home Party selling, companies. Starting a multi-level marketing or home party company is a difficult task, with a reported fail rate of around 80%. In an effort to help a company reduce the risk of starting a multi-level marketing company, LaunchSmart has developed the Direct Selling Symposium.
The Direct Selling Symposium combines the best practices, the lessons learned, specific programs, and approaches to multi-level marketing and home party strategies that have worked for the largest, most successful companies in the world. The Direct Selling Symposium teaches what tactics to use and what to avoid. LaunchSmart’s Direct Selling Symposium will teach the knowledge, skills, and tools any team needs to successfully launch their multi-level marketing or home party company.
LaunchSmart’s Direct Selling Symposium will be in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 21st and 22nd. There will be no selling by faculty members that occurs at the symposium, only teaching and learning of multi-level marketing and home party techniques. Topics of the symposium include:
- Recruiting a company’s first 500 distributors
- Effective and motivational compensation plans
- Enticing and alluring products
- Operations and technology strategies to increase sales and retention
Terrel Transtrum, co-founder of LaunchSmart and the Direct Selling Symposium, said, while commenting on why LaunchSmart is holding the symposium, “What we realized is that there was a void in the marketplace. There was no high-level quality educational experience at an affordable price for entrepreneurs wanting to start and grow a direct selling company – or diversify their existing business into the powerful direct selling space.”
Terrel Transtrum will be one of the presenters at the Direct Selling Symposium, along with David Taylor, Dan Jensen, Andi Sherwood, Spencer Reese, Jonathan Gilliam, Chad Hammond, Chris Boyle, Dave Siembieda, Dan Kremers, Jerry York, Kate J. Donovan, Michelle Larter, Preston Stewart, Wendy M. Yurgo, Jan Gilmore, and Brian Pickett. All represent various different multi-level marketing companies or home party companies and are leaders in the industry. Terrel Transtrum, Dan Jensen, Andi Sherwood, and Spencer Reese have all received the Direct Selling Association Partnership Award.
