Research, tri-media and the internet reveal that there are millions of people all over the world who are or have been in the worst situations in their lives. Abuse, neglect and other forms of suffering have squashed the strength of many, and have claimed the lives of some. They have been through life’s pain and author Juanita R. McNeil is no exception. In her book titled In The Midst of Pain, she reaches out to others who are in pain and hopefully help them persevere and cope through life’s toughest battles.
This engaging memoir is based on facts and the truth about McNeil’s life. It is an honest and daring revelation of what she has been through from her childhood years, growing up in a vicious atmosphere, and how this same vicious cycle always seems to repeat itself. This vicious cycle grew with her through her adulthood. This book also contains what reality is like for McNeil and how it is for others. Reality is very different for each individual, and each individual deals with it differently. Here, she relates how she dealt with the pain and how others can learn to deal with it too. She has wittingly written this book to drive those in despair from the thought of death as the only answer to all their pains.
Filled with vivid portrayals of real-life events, painful situations, various faces of torment, and a woman’s triumphant battle against life’s tragic ordeals, In The Midst of Pain is an insightful, inspirational and life-changing book that will encourage the readers to help in giving hope to those who seek for answers and who want to develop a strong relationship with God.
