Encouraging spiritual poems and words serves to inspire everyone with a sense of hope when there are feelings of lost and loneliness. They revive the strength and power of spiritual essence that resides from within and enable one to lift out of the gloom and into the light.
Poems of Hope written by Simon Nkongho is an inspiring collection of poems assembled to hold selected messages that will create a bridge to spiritual fulfillment and bring readers to a saving grace and a meaningful walk of faith towards eternal home in Christ Jesus.
Nkongho is a poetic messenger who upholds Christ as the head and foundation of the church. It is his will and dream that these poems will reach the heart of all schools, libraries, individuals and the general public. By dividing this book into thoughtful subjects such as praise, the God of creation, aspects of human condition, Christ as the Messiah, His humble return, man’s accountability and reward, Christ’s resurrection, gifts of grace, food for the soul, patriotism, love and death among others, these poems will be more enjoyable and studying it is made more simple.
This volume is designed to explore biblical truth beyond denominational spirit. Nkongho extends his invitation to the universal church, though their fellowship is under the umbrella of the Catholics, evangelical, Pentecostals and other groups to embrace, acclaim and own this poetic work. The fairness of these poems in language, styles and length is not intended for pleasure and literal satisfaction as a means to an end, but to help convey a complete message of redemption in Jesus Christ as designated in the Scripture, stimulate an awareness to maintain a right relationship with God, discover (as the Holy Bible teaches) oneself and the life hereafter in brief simple structured lines and provides a step by step run over of biblical truths from the creator, creation, human existence, divine purposes, and the eternal home of the soul, as God says it.
Poems of Hope is designed for the total church, its spiritual health and for seekers of God and for their answers to questions that will enable them to find salvation in Jesus Christ. It is recommended that crossway readers read these poems meditatively, accept inspiration and conviction, and offer holy interpretation to the themes and messages.
