Tradeouts.com hammers home the best deal for traders with the launch of its free trade-only online auction service.

With Tradeouts Auctions, dealers can eliminate auction fees, save time, and most importantly know their car is auctioned in front of thousands of dealers rather than the few hundred in an auction hall.

Trade-only car dealer website Tradeouts.com has launched its latest service, Tradeouts Auctions. The new service, free to customers, enables dealers to trade stock with other dealers via online real-time auctions on the Tradeouts website.

Since its launch just 13 months ago, Tradeouts has established itself as a major force in the industry with nearly 3,000 car dealers logging in daily to its trade-only vehicle website. Not content with that, Tradeouts identified that whilst there were conventional trading websites, and some auction websites for traders there was no site that brought them together in one cohesive product.

Tradeouts Auctions gives dealers the choice of how to dispose of their stock. Dealers can now run their own online auction on the Tradeouts website, without the time and costs involved of a conventional auction, as well as advertising their vehicles as standard trade adverts.

Managing Director of Tradeouts, David Brown says “With Tradeouts Auctions, dealers can eliminate auction fees, save time, and most importantly know their car is auctioned in front of thousands of dealers rather than the few hundred in an auction hall.”

Leading car rental company Hertz has already agreed to supply vehicles to Tradeouts Auction. Alan Pearn Online Remarketing Manager of Hertz says “It’s good to see a business expanding into different areas, and we look forward to having a successful working relationship.”

Tradeouts innovates further with its CanBid feature that extends a Tradeouts Auction by another minute if a bid is received in its closing seconds. Since an auction isn’t finished until everyone has finished bidding this feature guarantees the selling dealer achieves the best price, and potential bidders aren’t infuriated by being outbid at the last moment.

Under its slogan “Don’t get hammered”, Tradeouts Auctions addresses one of the biggest costs on the balance sheet; auctioning cars on line gives the best of both worlds whilst removing high fees. Tradeouts is offering Tradeouts Auctions as a free service to regular subscribers, with no buyers fees and no sellers fees.

David continues, “Dealers understand the benefit of using auctions to maximise their returns, but they have been searching for ways to do so online at a reduced cost and with a faster turnaround time. Some dealer groups have been so unhappy with existing auction services they have resorted to creating their own auction websites to dispose of stock.”

Like the original Tradeouts service launched in December 2011, Tradeouts Auction is the product of hundreds of hours consultancy with dealers across the UK. It’s this close collaboration with dealers that Tradeouts attributes its success.

David Brown ends “Throughout development we have a clear vision for how our products should evolve, but listening to our dealers has made the difference between offering a good service and a great service. This is the first of our product updates for the year, with many more to come throughout 2013.”

Based in Northamptonshire and founded in 2011, Tradeouts Limited is the leading independent online service provider to the automotive dealer industry and employs 8 people.
